ABOUT US… ExcelEnts Productions are a North West based entertainment group providing fully costumed and choreographed shows to clients both in the UK and overseas. Building on the success of our Diamonette Showgirl Cabaret Show in 2013 and 2014, we are pleased to announce that we are expanding and diversifying our acts to meet client demand for 2015 and beyond. We are now looking for vocalists and dancers to join our very select ‘performers pool’ in order to be considered for future contracts. We are still negotiating with agents and venues but contracts on offer over the next 6-12 months will CERTAINLY include: • Multiple Cyprus performance contracts • UK touring circus contracts • A bi-weekly summer season contract in Blackpool • Many UK-wide one off gigs and promo opportunities We pride ourselves in really caring for our performers and providing them with the opportunities they deserve. Unlike some agencies, we will not simply add you to a database along with hundreds of others, never hear from us again; those selected for representation are guaranteed contract offers with us. ABOUT YOU… We are looking for… Female dancers, 5’3 and over, maximum size 10 Female vocalists, 5’2 and over (dancing ability a major advantage), maximum size 12 Male vocalists (dancing ability and good physique are major advantages) We are also on the lookout for tribute acts, for example, Lady Gaga, Elvis, Rihanna etc. If you are a tribute of any act please do get in touch with the tribute you correspond. Of course we are looking for great ability but more than that we are looking for people who LOVE performing and have excellent stage presence. We are a really friendly team and all get on brilliantly both at gigs and outside of the performing environment; we’d like to keep it that way so it is a key priority for us to find people who are a good personality fit; divas need not apply. PLEASE NOTE! We are looking to expand as much in 2015 as we did in 2014. In order to do this we may need to attend the occasional unpaid showcase performance to gain new clients and venues. Although these performances are never compulsory, we value enthusiasm and dedication so those willing to participate will be given priority for paid contracts and gigs. We would like a couple of the performers we take on to participate in an enormous 2 day, expenses paid, international showcase at the 5* Celtic Manor Resort in Cardiff (attended by Thomson Cruises, SAGA Holidays and Park Resorts) on the 3rd and 4th of November. This is also a great opportunity for those looking to add performance credits to their CV. You will be asked about your availability for this at audition. AUDITIONS TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY 7TH OCTOBER 2014 (approx. 3.30pm till 8.00pm) and SATURDAY 11TH OCTOBER 2014 (approx. 10.00am till 3.30pm). Venue to be confirmed. Please email us for a slot and specify which date is best for you. We ask that performers only apply if they are serious and will be turning up to the audition, failure to turn up will unfortunately result in you not being offered another audition slot in the future. Audition format: • Dancers, we will ask you to perform a routine of your choice. We will then teach you part of an existing routine to follow. • Singers, we will ask you to perform a song of your choice. We also send you a list of songs from our proposed 2015 shows and ask you to select two or three to perform back to us. If you also have dance ability we will either invite you to the dance audition as well or teach a simple movement combination and ask you to perform it to music. • Please can all applicants bring a copy of their CV and headshot to the audition for us to retain, along with jazz shoes and character shoes. Finally we will have a short one-to-one conversation with you to find out a bit about your previous experiences and the type of opportunities that would interest you.
