ABOUT US: This was a very impressive and beautiful hotel. They are obligated to maintain the integrity of the 15th century work and the frescos on the walls are amazing. We had a huge room (number1) with high vaulted ceilings, the beautiful frescos on the walls and the ceiling also had amazing detail to it. Despite being right beside the reception desk, the room was quite soundproof. We truly felt like we were staying in a palace. Breakfast was served in another lovely room and was ample and fresh. From our arrival to our departure the young and eager staff could not have been more helpful. They were always ready to suggest or book reservations, and at hand for any requests that we had. We even got hugs upon leaving. I highly recommend this hotel for location as well. Although it was not directly in the tourist area it was an easy walk to the major sites and there were plenty of delicious restaurants within a couple blocks. It was pleasant being away from the crowds and we loved the area.
