Kids: According to the National Center for Health Statistics, “childhood obesity has more than doubled in children and tripled in adolescents in the past 30 years.” The era of technology has begun taking over our lifestyles, and the one’s suffering from it most is undoubtedly the younger generation. POTP! Kids is a boot camp style training system where kids can ditch the video games for an hour a day and experience a fun outdoors training session that will keep them healthier and in shape. Most importantly, it will change their habits of staying indoors and teach them to enjoy outdoor activities. POTP!: POTP! is a boot camp style training system that is held outdoors in parks and beaches in the beautiful city of Miami, FL. It is a dynamic training experience that will guide you to take charge of your health and become a better you! POTP! Athletic Performance: The ultimate goal of this program is to maximize the body’s physical capacity in order to optimize physical output during athletic performance. Through weight training, field training, or a combination of both, athletes will be able to excel in their sport. Our philosophy is based around work ethic and work output, and we promise our athletes an enhanced training experience which will transfer directly into the court or field. This program is designed to increase power, strength, agility, acceleration, and absolute speed, as well as increase the athlete’s vertical, core strength and dynamic flexibility. Why POTP? MEET THE COACH: Martin Gelbspan, Owner/CEO: Martin Gelbspan brings the science and applicability of strength training, as well as a physical therapy aspect to the table where rehabilitation, mobility and injury prevention are highly emphasized. He will be there along the way to instruct and ensure the longevity of your experience in Performance Optimization Training Program is a safe and injury-free one. His past experiences include interning at Complete Therapy USA, Bommarito Performance Systems and Jaguar PT. Furthermore, his studies consist of an Exercise Physiology and Business double major, with short term goals of completing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Martin already has a One-on-One Personal Training business called Gelbspan Fitness, therefore, client experience and personal skills will be clearly executed during training sessions.
