In a counter-attack on Congress, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, “Congress giving oxygen to Pakistan.” 2.Information about Pakistani boats was given by America’s intelligence department to Indian Govt, terror boats were in constant contact with Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, says sources. 3.Delhi airport has been put on high alert following intelligence input that a Delhi-Kabul flight might be hijacked by terrorists. According to reports, the intelligence input has also specified that it is an Air Indian flight that is likely to be targeted.Following the alert, security has been beefed up at the airport. 4.A eunuch on Sunday scripted history by winning the Mayors election in Chhattisgarhs Raigarh Municipal Corporation, defeating his nearest rival from BJP. Independent candidate Madhu Kinnar won the Mayoral election of the Raigarh Municipal Corporation by 4,537 votes against BJPs Mahaveer Guruji, an election official said. The news especially spells trouble for BJP, since the party has lost. 5.Mamata Banerjees nephew and Trinamool Congress Member of Parliament Abhishek Banerjee was slapped at a public meeting, allegedly by a party worker, in West Bengals East Midnapore district on Sunday afternoon. The party worker, who is yet to be identified, suddenly climbed up to the stage and slapped Banerjee, President of the Trinamool Youth Congress, when he was addressing the rally, police officials said.
