~~~ABSOLUTELY LOVELY - INSIDE AND OUT!!!~~~ A volunteer writes: Bowery reminds me of La Joconde, the famous painting of a pretty unknown woman with a sweet and enigmatic smile. Indeed, Bowerys past is unknown to us and her gentle smile is contagious . She is an adorable dumpling dressed in a lush and shiny coat with the most delicate markings. She seems to wear a mask that gives her the softest look. Her eyes twinkle. Her face is so expressive, almost human and makes me want to strike a conversation with her. Bowery is welcoming in her kennel. She is great on the leash and likely house trained. She likes when other people come to say hello and she is absolutely lovely with other dogs met, big and small. Free in a pen, she trots toward me when I call her and sits on command and for treats that she takes very politely from my hand. Bowery is quite a well mannered gal although lively and very affectionate. She seems to enjoy very much to be caressed and just to be in company. Bowery is at the Manhattan Care Center. This adorable lady was found as a stray and is just waiting to start her life all over with you as your new forever friend and confidant...
