ACA/KYNECT Policies Do Not Allow Fair Market Comparisons of Grandfathered Policies!!!! All health insurance marketed or sold and that is used to replace existing insurance in Kentucky should have a comparison and replacement form completed. KYNECT /ACA does not allow fair market comparisons and thus grandfathered plans cannot be sold[Dennis Shepherd] . Now if in the ACA law does require that all “grandfathered” plans that reduce benefits or increase costs to consumers lose their “grandfathered” status how is it that ACA non-grandfathered plans that increase costs to consumers and have higher out-of-pocket do not lose their status?? The only way for consumers to know whether KYNECT policies is more expensive than a “grandfathered” plan is by comparison. Thus the healthcare law is discriminating against “grandfathered” health insurance in favor of its own plans making such plans ACA [Dennis Shepherd] have higher costs [Dennis Shepherd] be the only purchase option for consumers.
