ACCESS DENIED!!! Gates create boundaries & declare ownership. Some gates are highly guarded allowing limited access & controlled exit, like the White House. Other gates are just latched closed with free & unguarded access to whats on the other side. This gate is often left open permitting any & everything to come inside & leave without identification or acknowledgement. Humans were created with types of gates: an eye-gate, ear-gate, mouth-gate, brain-gate & even a heart gate. What we give permission to enter our eye & ear-gate can take up residency in our heart & brain-gate & has the potential to come out of our mouth-gate. If your eye & ear-gates allow access to terrorist (fear, guilt & shame, unforgivingness, P.R.I.D.E.,envy, closed-minded(ness) & the lies weve been told, including the lies weve told ourselves) they are going to take up residency in your brain & heart-gate & TOTALLY annihilate the joy where your hope comes from. .…....So Whats The Point? 1). Guard your gate! Dont just give any and every, thing and body, access beyond your gate. You cant always control who or what stands at your gate, but you can certainly control who or what comes through your gate in an attempt to take up space in your gate. Access should be denied to anything that IS NOT ...true ,noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praise worthy. 2). Keep the landscape behind your gate well groomed. An attractive landscape looks good. Its inviting and warm and draws others in. Isnt that what God wants? He was Jesus to look good on you (dont He Roi Manning). 3). Remember whats in your heart and brain-gate usually comes out of your mouth-gate, then penetrates the eyes & ear-gates of others with the potential to annihilate someone elses brain & heart-gate. Dont be a terrorist..enough said! Terrorist wear good disguises so that they fit in with everyone else. If a terrorist tries to enter the White House & their identity is exposed, at the very minimum, access is denied; then the guards pounce on him and take him down. Did you get that? Weve got the Guard of all guards protecting & giving the greatest counsel on what & who should be given access beyond our gates. That Great Guard is the Holy Spirit; look, listen, believe & act on His commitment to keep you safe. Put this in your eye & ear-gates today: Phil. 4:8-13, Isaiah 30:21 & John 16:7-11 Dana Thomas....only because you said my posts are long. LOL I agree, but Im only doin what He tells me to 😉
