ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS “Ingratitude is shaper than a two edged sword” In the light of the foregoing, I will like to tender my unreserved gratitude first, to God Almighty, the giver of life from whom all good things comes and for his enduring mercies upon my life since the very I was conceived. As I set out to become useful to the society, posterity will count against me if I quickly forget to mention the untiring efforts of my parents, Mr. & Mrs. E. O. Usman (JP), who were there for me from sunrise to sunset during in a bid towards making me who I am today. I am very grateful for all your efforts towards making me a better person to the society. May our good Lord reward your understandings and good works. “Education is the discovery of our own Intelligence” It is on this note that I wish to acknowledge all the intellectual guru and academicians who were gallantly involved in the revolution that brought me out of my own intelligence. And above all, the men who took out time to supervise this work, their busy schedule notwithstanding, Dr. Benjie Ogwo and Barr. Adams A. Adams, To my very able, indefatigable and understanding Supervisors; DR. Benjie Ogwo and Adams A. Adams, who painstakingly supervised me in my days at the prestigious KOGI STATE UNIVERSITY, ANYIGBA and whose scholarly and unreserved criticisms spurred me into craving for a better and more qualitative piece, which is today almost regarded by many as a BESTSELLER, I’m indeed very grateful, even for your fatherly advice and simplicity in handling my affairs. God Bless you sirs. I remain ever grateful to you all. In the same vein, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to my siblings; John Akoji Usman, your constant prayers were never ignored by the Lord; you are really a Blessing to the family. To Ojochide Deborah Usman, what a caring and loving sister you are, the thoughts of you never leave my heart. To Samuel Usman Ogohi, you‘ve been a wonderful brother, a help mate and above all, a companion. I won’t forget the role played by my ever green elder sister, Mrs. Victoria A. Haruna. I may have lost you to another family but believe me, blood is thicker than water. Your valued assistance and that of your husband, Mr. J. Haruna is ever fresh in my memory. To all of you I say thanks a mill! How could I have gotten here without mentioning the efforts of Capt. & Mrs. Y. Abu (Rtd), Abel Abu, Williams Abu, Monday Abu, Abu Moses (CEO Mabseed Nig. Ltd.), Abu Sule and my Uncles; Hon. James Usman & Rev. Fr. Jacob Usman, you have all invested in my life and God will Repay you accordingly. To all my intellectual collaborators and colleagues, who stood by me despite the tedious journey through the market place of ideas, I say thank you to the likes of Amedu Emmanuel, Leo (Onyeneku), Big Marlow, Achile Moses, Philemon Omede, Etisang, Obama, Summy, Dare, Emmanuel, Rooney, Simon, Musa, Momoh, Gabriel, Ameh Friday and the entire members of the Apogea community of the law faculty (2011/12 graduating set) et al too numerous to mention, once again I say thank you and congratulations on the gallant completion of your tertiary education. “A friend in need is a friend indeed” the efforts of Mark Adejoh, Aluh John, DanSiraj, Solomon, Morgan, ISA, Lemmy, Jelsan, Sammytech, Prof. Sule and others cannot easily be forgotten. You have exhibited high sense of determination and tenacity in the course of our friendship and should be acknowledged accordingly with credence. To all my fellowship members in NFCS, CALSAN, CLASSFON, I say thank you for your spiritual contributions. To the members of Pacesetters Nigeria, you are worthy of been given credence for your intellectual gingering. The diocesan CYON of both Lokoja and Idah diocese can not be forgotten. I will also like to use this medium to thank all those who have helped me one way or the other, those who have rendered prayers for me, knowingly or unknowingly. May God answer your prayers. Finally and very importantly, our experiences in life color our hearts. In the light of the foregoing, I acknowledge Blessing John, Theresa Amade, Ada, Biola, Fancy, Fitumi, Amaka, Shonancy, Debby, Grace, Nefisat, Mariam, Raliat, Dammy, Happiness, Geraldine, Chide and a host of other folks. You all stand out among my friends and supported me in all spheres of life. You are fondly remembered. Thank you all. the list is endless
