ACMH congratulates Shellie Bosma!!! Executive Director Named Shellie Bosma to Lead ASK Friends, Families, and Community Partners: We are pleased to announce that after a careful and extensive search, Shellie Bosma has been appointed as Exective Director of Advocacy Services for Kids (ASK). Shellie began her career with ASK in 2005, has served as Operations Manager since 2006, and has most recently served as Interim Executive Director since May of this year. For nine years and through various stages of growth, Shellie has consistently displayed supportive leadership and commitment to families. Having served as an integral member of the management team, she has unique knowledge of the organization’s history, successes, challenges, and potential. As a parent, she has a keen understanding of the difficulties families of youth with mood, emotional, and behavioral challenges face. “My personal experience as a parent has given me particular insight into the needs of families in our community, and a compassionate vision of how best to serve them. I truly believe that ASK is a valuable and necessary resource for families of children with mental health challenges. More importantly, I believe that with continued family and community partnerships, we can grow to be the Family Resource Center that this community needs. ” We believe Shellie is distinctly positioned for a seamless transition into guiding this family-led organization, and welcome her knowledge, compassion and commitment as we move forward.
