ACTION #2 : The Mercure Hotel in Brisbane has hosted the last three consecutive Real Social Dynamics events, including one led by Julien Blanc, on 23.5.13, 10.10.13 and 24.4.14. Please encourage them not to host Blancs RSD events there on November 13 and December 18. As with the Sydney Masonic Centre, lets be polite *at the moment* as they are probably still digesting the Melbourne cancellation, and we have no confirmation that they have these later bookings (though it seems likely). As you are probably aware from the news today, his Melbourne appearance has been cancelled due to the growing public knowledge about the content of his talks and videos : advocation of physical force, including choking and other rape-like techniques, when picking up women, as well as racist diatribes in regards to women from other cultures. Im sure that your hotel does not support the advocation of rape, misogyny and racial denigration, and Im sure that you would like women to see the Mercure as a safe place to visit and stay. Accordingly, could you please confirm that you will not be hosting the RSD seminars on November 13 and December 18, or on any future dates?
