ACTION PLAN: 2015 This program reflects my understanding of Occupy; it follows from the main idea that occupation is a tactic of force. 1. That this tactic has inadvertently become a Movement; and that this new movement is part of a larger, ongoing global revolution. 2. That this revolution encompasses literally thousands of movements; and that each movement must contribute any and all available resources to support any other movement engaged in common struggle. 3. That this struggle is primarily concerned with the liberation of humanity from undue toil and waste, the stewardship of Earth and the abolition of Imperialism. The following two Projects are mutually inclusive: Resurrect Occupy Bay Area United OBAU is principled solidarity and pragmatic mutual aid. It provides an outlet for actions staged around a broad region and creates opportunity for new affinity groups. It affords a wider spectrum of operational tools for working groups. For OBAU2.0 to be successful it must have a core team of dedicated organizers and occupiers committed to building a larger community of activism that can take a place on the national and global stage. [ Contact list and chat members/bottomliners] OBAU should be conceived as a FEDERATION of local Bay Area Occupy groups, not a separate body of each Occupy group. It is a functioning assembly of various working groups focused on particular issues. It can be considered on an ad-hoc basis and participants may meet whenever they wish. There will be weekly meetings the time and space to be determined by the consensus of the participants. [Action Council meetings/GA attendance] OBAU is manifest whenever 3 or more Occupy groups come together in time and space. The primary groups would be SAN FRANCISCO, OAKLAND and BERKELEY. Searches will be conducted to discover other Bay Area groups to plug into OBAU. [Banner and literature/ outreach to other groups/web presence] The only difference between OBAU 2.0 and the first version is that it is taken far more seriously this time. The original intent and guidelines remain in place. [FB page maintenance/weekly participation] OBAU 2.0 embraces a diversity of tactics, acknowledges the importance and value of BLACK BLOC tactics, and affirms that PROPERTY DAMAGE is a necessary component of revolution. We MUST be able to project a credible threat of physical force; and while we eschew violence against human beings and animals, it is absolutely necessary for us as revolutionaries to compel respect and induce fear in our opponents. It is equally necessary to earn the respect of the global revolutionary movement. [Will not BLOCK any tactic that is consistent with aims of the action/will neither condemn nor condone autonomous actions. BB is preemptively a STAND ASIDE. The purpose of RADICAL VANDALISM is to reclaim space and violate/neutralize (destroy) the symbols and objects of oppression. The purpose of SABOTAGE is to take DIRECT ACTION against the machinery of the State and render it inoperable. This means the impediment of machinery and mechanisms that support a system. We will not beat the shit out of people; we will beat the shit out of their stuff. We will not interfere with other people beating the shit out of that stuff. Creation of GLOBALREVOLUTION SF Media Group The GRSF media group will broadcast local events and exchange information with a global audience. These are broadcast as REALTIME COUNTERMEASURES to the mainstream media teams and Establishment narrative. [Think globally/Act locally. Counter Offense is Defense] The purpose of this WORKING GROUP is to maintain SOLID STATE communications with the other GR media groups working around the globe. [Training, equipment, and broadcasting] This means dedicated participants to cover events, and the formation of dedicated TWITTER, LIVESTREAM, and CHAT channels that can be plugged into the main Global Revolution TV website. [Mixers and Streamers plugged into global nets] One of the first things the GRSF media group must do is coordinate VERY CLOSELY with COPWATCH and COPBLOCK. It will acquire body cameras and any other useful gear such as cameras and phones to distribute at large. The idea is to subvert mainstream media with our narrative. [Careful messaging and delivery/fund raising] The following projects are related: SQUAT SYNDICATE Working more intensely with HOMES NOT JAILS, and diffusing that information and training into as many hands as possible. Establishing safe space for people based on their affinity and practical compatibility. [ Opening special interest spaces / VetPads, KickPads and Safe Houses] Building solidarity between homeless and homeowners by encouraging participation in any and all HOUSING related issues. [Bank actions/Eviction Defense] FOOD AQUISITION FOR CAMPS Working more intensely with FOOD NOT BOMBS, and organized dumpster diving. Consolidation of FOOD STAMPS.
