ACTIVITY 2: In Ch.7, Pastor Derwin says that, “All of us start our journey with Jesus as consumers.” He then gave the example of his marriage to portray how this journey can play out in other areas of our lives, beyond just that of our journey with Christ. ~Get out a piece of paper and quickly list out all of your various roles (wife, mom, employee, etc.). Now take a few moments to honestly consider the following: Which of these you have been on a “Consumer to Contributor” journey with? Are there some that you’ve done so successfully or some that maybe still could use a bit more progress in this? Put stars next to those you’ve become more of a “Contributor” in and highlight those that you may still be more of a “Consumer” in.
