ACTORS/SOUND RECORDIST REQUIRED Hi all, I’m in the process of putting together a short film for entry into competitions around the country. The film will be about 18 minutes long and shooting around Fremantle and the western suburbs hopefully around January. The focus is on interesting characters and naturalistic dialogue. I require actors for three roles as well as anyone with experience recording sound. I’d be more than happy for anyone who thinks they might be able to lend a hand behind the scenes to join the production too. I am an amateur film-maker with no professional experience so these roles will be UNPAID. Roles: 1) Oban; is a charming, eloquent, outgoing boy of 15 who cares little for social norms. Oban is fifteen years old, though appears older. I’d consider actors of any age, ethnicity for this part, the sole requirement is really that you can pass for someone in their teens, no beards. 2) Yvonne, is a loudmouthed, outgoing and ocker woman in her early twenties who is getting married to Clive on a whim and requires witnesses for her wedding. 3) Clive, yvonne’s groom, equally ocker, though slightly more retiring and slower than his fiance, whom he met while she was in highschool and he was the janitor, any age from 18-35 for this part.
