ACTS 9:4-6 AND HE FELL TO THE EARTH, AND HEARD A VOICE SAY UNTO HIM, SAUL, SAUL, WHY PERSECUTEST THOU ME? 5 AND HE SAID, WHO ART THOU, LORD? AND THE LORD SAID, I AM JESUS WHOM THOU PERSECUTEST: IT IS HARD FOR THEE TO KICK AGAINST THE PRICKS. 6 AND HE TREMBLING AND ASTONISHED SAID, LORD, WHAT WILT THOU HAVE ME TO DO? AND THE LORD SAID UNTO HIM, ARISE, AND GO INTO THE CITY, AND IT WILL BE TOLD TO THEE WHAT THOU MUST DO. here we have a man named saul, who would soon change his name to paul. and as paul, he would become one of the greatest apostles, and largest literary contributer to the BIBLES section known as the NEW TESTAMENT. once hell bent on destroying the church of CHRIST. saul locked up, and ruined the lives of many beleivers in JESUS. you see saul was in error in mind, not in HEART. in his HEART he was serving GOD, and simply did not believe in this man named JESUS. but when saul was faced with the TRUTH of JESUS CHRIST, he quickly made up his mind to first acknowledge the TRUTH, WHO ART THOU LORD? then he quickly submitted to the TRUTH... LORD, WHAT WILT THOU HAVE ME TO DO? and the next in structural procession came OBEDIANCE.. ARISE, AND GO INTO THE CITY, AND IT WILL BE TOLD TO THEE WHAT THOU MUST DO.. and saul did just as he was told. now mind you, during this conversation with the LORD, and the LIGHT shining from HEAVEN. saul was immediately struck blind as he fell off the horse. and it amazes me, that not for one second did this disposition alter or affect what saul was instructed to do or what he replied. I mean, having sight from birth, and suddenly being struck blind. saul did not falter, hesitate, or complain. it only said, HE TREMBLING AND ASTONISHED.. in other words, saul FEARED THE LORD, and was surprised. and scripture says Proverbs 9:10 King James Version (KJV) 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. you see, saul had zeal. but now he had UNDERSTANDING of the TRUTH. which is JESUS CHRIST. no longer in error. saul will become PAUL the APOSTLE, and be a great and zealous leader for CHRIST. CLOSING: Proverbs 4:7 King James Version (KJV) 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. the main thing I notice about people I talk to? they dont believe the GOD of the BIBLE is the GOD of today.. that means SOVEREIGN, POWERFUL, FAITHFUL, even ABLE.. and this is accounted as a lack of FAITH on there part. the GOD I believe in is ABLE, and FAITHFUL. scripture says, Hebrews 11:6 King James Version (KJV) 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. look. GOD made me a promise like ABRAHAM, JOSEPH, DAVID.. and here it is years later and i have not seen it manifest. nut i BELEIVE. so i go on. you can not listen to the world when they tell you believe in self and compromise.. sin sowed, is sin reaped. and you wonder why GOD doesnt move on your behalf? the WORD is uncorrupted and RIGHTEOUSNESS dictates HIS character can not compromise! in other words, GOD will not meet you in sin. but! JESUS CHRIST will! if you call on the NAME of the LORD. and be willing to ACKNOWLEDGE, SUBMIT, and OBEY. then and only then, will you find a PEACE that surpasses all understanding..
