Adam contacted Robin, who at the time was doing rescue work with the Burbank shelter. She told him about Kahlua, and the rest is history. Kahlua lived a long, and very loved life with Adam until she passed last year. In September 2013, they adopted Westside girl Mackeson (fka Rachael) who is Adam’s trusty running partner and is always right by his side! Adam’s love of the breed comes from serving as a police officer and admiring their loyalty, intelligence and pure athleticism. They are determined to raise as much money as they can for Westside to save more wonderful dogs like Kahlua and Mackeson.
