ADIEU PROF GERALD EGBO Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University community will not in a hurry to forget December 2014, were the unwanted and inevitable visitor strike twice. First it was on 2nd December when it visit the head of department urban and regional planning Dr muhammed yaya Abubakar, secondly on 26th December when it knocks at the door of prof Gerald Egbo popularly known as Gerry Egbo the incumbent Dean of postgraduate studies. Prior to his death, he was the former dean of faculty of engineering and engineering technology, head of department mechanical engineering, member of the Governing council. He started his career in the university as a graduate assistant after graduating or obtaining his first degree from Auto mechanical institute moscow in Russia. The university has once again loss a mentor, Adieu prof, may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace with the lord!!
