Today is World Duchenne Day......x We all complain about stupid things but take just one moment tonight to think how you would cope if it was your boy or boys!!!!! Unfortunately we are very familiar with duchennes. It is a condition that only affects boys and drastically reduces their life span. We currently have a lot of assistance dogs working with boys with this condition in Ireland. Keeping a child mobile for as long as possible is critical in order to extend their life. We pray tonight that one day in the not too distance future that medical science will find a cure or at least keep duchennes under control so that each of these inspiring boys can be the men they want to become.
