ADMINISTRATIVE/HUMAN RESOURCE Torrance Safety Background, Payroll (Kronos), Human Resource, must be proficient in PowerPoint, will create presentations, Must be fluent in English/Spanish Human Resources Duties: -Application processing -Processing terminations -Maintaining employee files (I9 separation, etc.) -Routine safety inspections (checking the dock 2 times daily to confirm vests are worn, etc.) -Monitoring DOT random drug testing program -Assisting employees in completion of insurance paperwork -Workers comp coordinator -Misc. local coordinator (employment verification letters, write-ups, etc.) -Accident follow-ups (assisting Gene as needed for scheduling calls, gathering paperwork, etc.) -Filing and monitoring all new Ontario hires in coordination with Paul -Attending initial hearing for EDD disputes as needed Payroll Assistance: -Monitoring Kronos to confirm accuracy of punches daily -Tracking OT and total hours worked -Auditing driver manifests daily to confirm accuracy in PT -Entering driver pay weekly (adjusting any rates as necessary, adding accessorial entries) -Maintaining accessorial billing spreadsheet in coordination with the above -Prepping final paychecks and tracking PTO -Advising corporate department of any pay disputes, second checks needed, etc. -Bugfixing of warehouse time scanners Recruiting Duties: -Local coordinator for all recruiting activities (driver interviews, DOT app processing, etc.) -Maintaining open communication with Tony, Kristal, etc. as well as safety department -Orientation for new drivers Misc. Administrative: -Maintaining local bank account -Daily reports (PNC deposit, Pier Pass, etc.) -Filing BIT inspection paperwork, vendor backup docs, and invoices -Inventory management -Local accounts payable entry & coordinator (accruing/indexing invoices, advising of urgent postings, expense reports, vendor creation, etc.) -Providing transportation for visiting corporate employees as needed -Obtaining insurance certificates for new customers -Placing service calls with outside vendors -Minor IT coordination (advising GiaSpace of personnel changes, assisting Pete with random tasks, etc.) -Opening and sorting mail EMAIL RESUME WITH Admin/HR in the subject line to dmunoz@staffingllc, (please include your pay requirement)
