ADOPTION UPDATE: Hank! To tell you the whole story about Hank, we first must tell you about his mama, Anabelle. Anabelle gave birth to a litter of 12 pups on the floor of a local shelter. The day she gave birth was also the day she was was scheduled to be killed (see the first picture). Her 12 puppies (including a fat little nugget named Hank) were to share the same fate as their mama on that hot summer day. A shelter worker contacted the ARK and we pulled Annabelle and her day old brood off of death row. Hank was adopted into his furever home and is now a year old. His best bud is his 8 month old brother! Hanks new mama says that he has been the best big brother to their human son. This is wonderful news to us, because this week we had several dogs returned to us from families expecting their first human baby who just assumed that you cant have a baby and a pet at the same time. Not true folks! Check out this handsome fella and his best bud! A huge thank you to Hanks new mama for loving him and giving him the home that he deserved!
