ADORATION // Perfume Oil // Bulgarian Rose, Frankincense, Myrrh, Peru Balsam, Woods, Resins, Warm & Enveloping Earthy Sweet Scent If you enjoyed the Adoration soap I made this past February, this is that exact same glorious fragrance in perfume oil form. Top notes of blooming true rose mingle with fragrant middle notes of frankincense and myrrh, enhanced by tolu balsam, peru balsam, warm soft (not powdery) amber, a hint of cedar moss and a wisp of trailing fragrant woodsmoke. Wood and resin essential oils are further blended together to lend a deep, warm earthy vanilla caramel-esque base to this scent. Note: The frankincense and myrrh notes are softer, rounder and warmer smelling in this blend than in the Adoration Body Butter. If you enjoy the characteristically sharper, bold notes of frankincense essential oil (think church incense- I was *immediately* transported back to delightful memories of going to an Egyptian/ Coptic church bazaar when I first opened and smelled the bottle of frankincense e.o.) ANYWAYS, if you prefer a stronger more prominent notes of frankincense e.o., I would recommend the body butter, or layer the two together which would also be divine and perfect combination- the best of both translations of the scent in unison. This perfume accord blends together to essentially add deep resinous warmth to enhance the scent of rose. BOTTOM LINE: If you enjoy rose, incense, vanilla, amber, woodsy, warm scents than you will love this perfume.
