ADVANCE WARNING OF TRAFFIC CHAOS IN TULLOW NEXT WEEK (Monday 7th to Friday 11th March) FOLKS I have been advised that the roadworks at Tullowbeg are progressing according to plan. I have also been advised that the contractor will lay tar macadam next week which will require the effective SHUT DOWN of the Tullowbeg Road. Diversions will be put in place. You can expect at least 30 minutes delays if you want to try use the Tullowbeg Road. There is no doubt that traffic in Tullow town will be chaotic next week. (Probably totally chaotic). Please plan your journeys carefully. Allow plenty of extra time to arrive on time. Best to avoid the town centre. The developer NOT the Council is responsible for the traffic control measures and diversions during the €400,000 improvement scheme. Thank you for your co-operation.
