Make sure you have the number for your breakdown service, just in case Take sunglasses to help with the low sun and snow glare.. De-icer your car thoroughly before setting off Be seen - check all your lights - use your dipped beams, the risk of having an accident is reduced if they are on.. If you are driving a longer distance than locally... consider taking a Winter Motoring Emergency Kit - Jump leads, shovel, blankets, torch (if you get stuck, you can use your carmats to get a grip) I will keep you updated as to the local road network & weather conditions as they happen...
