ADVISORY | ecosur afrique is pleased to announce the successful registration of Man and Man Enterprise Improved Cooking Stoves Programme in Togo under the UNFCCC Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). This achievement is the 21th successful CDM project advised and registered by ecosur afrique in Africa. Thanks to their design, Man and Man stoves feature a better efficiency than traditional stoves. Up to 60% of charcoal savings can be made by users thus contributing directly to alleviating deforestation and reducing CO2 emissions. ecosur afrique would like to thank the DNA and the UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Center (RCC) in Lomé – especially the Francophone team Pape Ndiaye and Guilhem Pouillevet - for their support during this process.
