ADVOCATING FOR OUR MESSENGERS: I urge our parishes to consider taking good care of our prophets and prophetess in the church. The Lord use them as the inner eye of the church and so, they deserves respect, care and most importantly incentives. A good parish need to take good care and respect them. I have always wanted to advocate this, but I was being held back that members might protest, saying in that case other workers in the church too need to be cared for. Okay, I understand, but I see the prophets and prophetess as the spiritual war front fighters of our church and as such, apart from praying for them, they need physical and material supports too. The gift of prophecy is a unique one, among others and the church need to value our messengers more. Traditionally in C.C.C. prophets are meant to support a called shepherd on spiritual matters, however these days the situation have changed. Many believed such changes was due to the outcome of our messengers being overlooked and not regarded in their parish, and henceforth, encouraging them to set up their own churches. It will be good for the church to rediscover her root, and let the team working spirit be the order of the day in the parishes. The shepherd and the prophets should be in harmony and be ready to work as a team, and that means with an effective standard of trust between them. I advocates once again, do not overlook our messengers, they are the eyes of the church, literally. They need to be valued highly in our church and be respected. Let them not be used and then simply dumped them or pretend you do not see their needs. I hope Shepherds do comply, and as such perhaps need to raise the stake higher for our messengers, and some of them understands this message. The key task to focus on in addressing this matters [if they do really need attention], are to open up a review, a dialogue and most importantly, make them happy. Ask them, what can the parish do for them to make them happy? A parish without our messengers, will ultimately pull less worshippers, because this is what C.C.C. is known for. The LORD will continue to enrich our church spiritually. Amen.
