Goal keepers, Robert Odongkara and Dennis Onyango, striker Yunus Sentamu and Midfielder Tonny Mawejje are the players most likely to miss the game scheduled for 18th May 2014 in Madagscar. “It is very unfortunate Odongkara got injured during St Georges’ match on Tuesday. We shall keep monitoring his recovery and hopefully he gets better”, Micho told the press at Mengo. In the same vein, goalie Dennis Onyango is likely to miss the first leg as his team, Wits University is playing on the 17th May 2014 . Yunus Sentamu, with Congolese side, AS Vita is also busy on the continent. Tonny Mawejje is another doubtful player for the Cranes’ first leg in Madagascar as his Haugesund side in the Norwegian league is still engaged in several league matches. Hamza Lifeline: Goalie, Hamza Muwonge plying his trade in the Kenyan Premier league has been named on the standby list. With the exception of KCC and Sports Club Victoria University, the rest of the summoned Uganda Cranes stars will start training on Wednesday evening at Namboole Stadium.
