AFLPNG have named an initial 42 man squad for the 2014 International Cup. These selections have been based on performances for the emerging Mossies in Lae in September, BSP Cup form, Australian form, and past national performances. Injuries have also been considered. The squad can and will be added to and deleted at any time. Training for players in Port Moresby has commenced on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Murray Barracks. Tuesdays and Thursdays will commence at 4.30pm. Saturday training is at 9am. For more details please contact Rex Leka in the AFLPNG offices. All players are expected to contact the AFLPNG office if they are unable to make Port Moresby training. If you are in POM, and want to make the 2014IC team you will come to training and undertake a full summer program. If you are in an outside centre you will contact Rex in regards to a summer program. Australian based players not returning to Port Moresby will be fitness tested in early 2014.
