AFP congratulates the finalists and winners of the 2014 Mitsubishi Corporation WA Innovator of the Year Awards. The WA Innovator of the Year Program, run by the Department of Commerce, is a valuable initiative which provides support to innovators and entrepreneurs across WA. Special mention to One Atmosphere Pty Ltd (Port Kennedy) who were awarded the Woodside Oil and Gas Encouragement Award for their innovative project - Pegasus: an aircraft buoyancy system: a light weight post-crash unit designed to provide emergency buoyancy for helicopters.
