AFRICA WHY?: Few days ago, I overhead primary school students sing; Oh my home, oh my home... When shall I see my home?.. When shall I see my beautiful home? I will never forget my home!!!... I remembered our time at Aba/Owerri Road primarily school in the 80s & early 90s, Amadi MaQmillian Martin, Amaechi Mike Ikechukwu, Johnchrixtopher Chinenye Akanno, Benjamin Ikemefuna Uzoka, Ndubuisi Amaechi, etc can also confirm. But my primary concern about this song is the incident that inspired the progenitors. These were Africans enslaved in diaspora during the slave trade epoch in history... Hmmm!...mans inhumanity to man. Well, is funny enough today to see that Africans in the metropolitan societies no longer remember or talk about those incidence, and some of us today like Balotteli, the Ghanaian player, now a national in Italy and Chris Brown the musician, a Nigerian but a US citizen/national like I am told (true/false, I know not), and many more there, together with a large crowd at various embassies looking for a way out of the African continent and possibly become nationals over there because of how organized those continents are. This simply may be because our countries in the African continent has failed to organize themselves and come up with foreign policies that would better the lot of her citizens. Hence my question, AFRICA WHY?
