AFRICAN POETS: I AM LOOKING AT YOU! APPLY! December is just around the corner, which means there are only a few days left to submit to the third annual Sillerman First Book Prize for African Poets. The prize, generously funded by Laura and Robert F. X. Sillerman, awards anAfrican writer publication of his or her first book through the University of Nebraska Press and Amalion Press in Senegal, as well as $1000. Manuscripts must be at least 50 pages long and written in English. Submissions are accepted online and require no entry fee. For full guidelines, click here.
