AFRIEM DEBATE ON SENZO MEYIWAS DEATH Revelations that Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalie, Senzo Meyiwa, died protecting his Afro-Pop singer and girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo, have attracted mixed reactions in social media. For starters, Senzo was attacked by two guys who entered his Gauteng house and demanded cellphones, money and other valuables while pointing a gun at his girlfriend, Kelly. To save his girlfriend from death, Meyiwa jumped over her in a bid to shield her from a bullet. He was shot in the back and the bullet came out through his chest. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Botshelong Hospital. While some have described Senzo as man enough for risking his life for love, something not every other man can do, others say Senzo went too far arguing his family has lost him while his girlfriend still lives on and will eventually get another boyfriend, marry and live happily.
