AFTER 1 YEAR AND 10MONTHS OF FUEL INCREMENT, NIGERIANS HOW FAR? On the 1st of January 2012, president Jonathan hit Nigerians with the removal of fuel subsidy with the promise that in 6 months, life will be better for all Nigerians. All our roads will be tared, Power supply will be available 24hrs, All Nigerian youths will have jobs, Refineries will be built everywhere that Nigeria will no longer import fuel. In fact, to sum it up, the president promised heaven on earth. Today, 1 year and 10 months has passed and things have only got worse. President Jonathan started with the charade of increased power supply and the sorry was all over the world on the increased power supply everywhere in Nigeria. Few weeks later, the whole thing became a mirage and the whole world made mockery of Nigeria, courtesy of the Amanpours. Today, power supply is worse that it used to be. President Jonathan and Laberan Maku composed a new song and it was titled Nigerian rail way has become the best in Africa. Jonathan and Maku re-painted old and rickety locomotives in Lagos and kano and were deceiving people that Nigeria now has new locomotives and can travel from lagos to kano via locomotives. To people like Abdulrazaq O Hamzat and others that were deceived to try to use the rail, the pains are still lingering in their memory. Today, the sermon is passed and another was that president Jonathan is building federal Universities in all the states in Nigeria. After the whole charade of laying various foundations, today, our existing Universities have been under lock and key for more than 4 months. The next, president Jonathan started putting tiles and painting airports and the new song became upgrading of all the international airports While president Jonathan was busy painting and putting tiles in our airports, our aircrafts were crashing and killing Nigerians because they were not up to standard and there were no standard safety measure and Nigeria could not afford a single new commercial aircraft. After painting the airports and putting tiles, Nigerians fly rickety aircrafts and only pray to God to land in peace. Is there any need to continue? Would that make those who have been deceived and fooled with religious and ethnic bigotry come back to their senses? May be it will be after Stella Odua has explained who she spent #250 million that is not budgeted for the purchase of 2 bullet prof cars.
