AFTER SUNSET I first met President Sata in 2008 at his office, was so excited to sit opposite to him in his office. He noticed my huge green hat and straight away we shared jokes about it. Before we left, he asked some man from next office to give me and my colleague something for talk time and on our way out.... I was given a K50 (then K50000). Secondly, again it was at his office but this time with some student journalists who came researching on Zambias politics. When I entered his office, the first thing he noticed was me losing weight. He then asked a colleague of mine Grace Makowane to marry me and laughed. He then pointed at the photo of him and the first lady on the wall ati wamona efyo alensunga? We laughed through out. During the interview then Mr. SATA said something striking, he said Zambia was poor because leaders were selfish. A few months after he became president I was then into music.... I got a message from the Special assistant to the President MR. GEORGE CHELLAH that the President wanted to listen to my music. .... we arranged and I handed 2 of my music Cds to him. A few hours after that I got a call from the Mr. Chellah asking me to continue and never to relent. I assured him I was not in anyway relenting and I promised him that I would not praise them blindly. We exchanged jokes afterwards and the rest is history. Rest In Peace Mr. President
