AG has never been about personalities. Its built upon foundation of Christlike sincere humility of men (and women) who were selfless, mortified their flesh, gave their all and more, in order to advance Pentecostal evangelism across Nigeria. I had a front row seat, albeit very young, at the prophetic drama and revival through these foot soldiers of the cross. As awesome as our historical recollections are, the BEST IS YET TO COME! AGs brand is about a Kingdom Institution that advances the cause of Jesus on earth and never about Personality Cults or arrogance of power as is prevalent in the Nigerian church today. Lets be reassured that not only is God in this purge but the LATTER SHALL BE GREATER IJN: The glory of this latter house shall be GREATER THAN OF THE FORMER, saith The Lord of hosts (Haggai 2:9 KJV). By the way, as an ordained AG minister in Diaspora, who hails from Old Umuahia (whose father, Nathan Umechuruba, was pivotal in Pentecostal evangelism and church plants from Enugu to The Northern Region of Nigeria), immediate past VP of Nigeria AG Fellowship USA and current VP of African AG Fellowship USA, Im unaware of the existence of the UMUAHIA BRETHREN and neither have I been consulted nor in discussion with any representative from such an organization over current state of affairs in AG Nigeria. The rumors, lies, misrepresentations, innuendoes and brazen posturing are breathtakingly Machevialian. In Gods kingdom, the end doesnt often justify the means. The process is much more important than the product or outcome. The reign of Sanballat and Tobiah in the church shall be short lived IJN. The devil is a liar. The church is marching on! These all got to stop IJN. Let me ask: WHERE WOULD WE SPEND ETERNITY IF JESUS COMES FOR HIS OWN RIGHT NOW?! Answer for yourself and repent, otherwise the FIRST shall be the LAST. God forbid! Or may be for some, thats no longer factored into our daily reflection as a motivation to STAY READY FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD! Surprise, surprise! Finally, let me call us all to order. WE all are culpable of grave error and sin against God. We have allowed church politics, elections and all kinds of compromise to rule our day over the will of God. We must therefore be broken, humble and ask God to forgive us as in days of Daniel in Babylon. He will heal and restore us again, BETTER THAN BEFORE IJN. Shalom!
