AG says most state owned enterprises have been corrupt Publish date/time: 29/11/2013 [12:55] Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said most of the state owned enterprises in Fiji have been corrupt. Sayed-Khaiyum revealed this while talking to the participants of the Fiji Directors Course at Holiday Inn. The Attorney General said in many of the state owned enterprises, the directors play a major role in terms of some of the management’s aspects because of the lack of skills set in management levels. Sayed-Khaiyum said in any other jurisdiction where there is a higher level of accountability and transparency, that would not even happen.
