AGS CELEBRATES 18 YEARS IN BUSINESS TODAY! THANK YOU ALL! TIME 18 years ago today...I made a gut wrenching decision to leave my successful practice at MERRILL LYNCH. I made the decision to give up my dream of a career on Wall Street and status in corporate America. Over the last 18 years as the owner of a business management consulting firm (AGS), I have been fired; I have dealt with personal tragedy that almost took me, my business, and my family under; I have resigned; I have wanted to quit and start again on numerous occasions. I have hit the business grand slam, and I have run, unabated, with passion toward my dreams, sometimes to the point of exhaustion. However, through all the ups and downs that life throws at us I found the only real constant that could be counted on is...TIME. Today, I look back on my decision to put TIME first. More time with my love, Marie. More time with my beautiful children, Michael, Matthew, and Alex (and Winnie). More time with genuine friends. More time cultivating the right kind of client relationships. As for regrets, I have had my share, as we all do on the journey. However, reflecting back on a day like today I know that putting TIME first - way back in 1996 - was the best decision I ever made. Thank you all again!
