AGUILAR HOMECOMING WEEK!!! Press release from Aguilar School District for the information and photo credits. Here is other information about Aguilars Homecoming: Homecoming Week in Aguilar. Sept 15-20 Students and staff celebrated this past week with Spirit Dress Up Days: Monday= Crazy Day Tuesday= Zombie Day Wednesday = Pajama Day Thursday= Green and White Spirit Day. Thursday afternoon the Homecoming Parade took its traditional route up and down Main St in Aguilar. Following the parade , a pep rally was held in the Commons. At 5 pm on Thursday, the Lady Wildcat Volleyball team hosted Kim and after a valiant team effort, fell to the Lady Mustangs, winning 2 out of five games. Friday night, weather permitting, will be a bonfire at 7:00 pm at the baseball field. The Wildcat football team will host the Cheraw Wolverines at 1 pm Saturday. A Country themed dance will cap the weeks festivities Saturday, Sept 20th at 8 pm in the schools Commons where King William Lane and Queen Ariana Coca will be crowned at coronation. Ariana participated in basketball her junior year with the boys team. She was yearbook editor her junior year and was also the recipient of the Masonic Outstanding Junior Award.Ariana plans to attend Trinidad State Junior Colleges nursing program after she graduates from high school to become an RN. William Edward Lane, Homecoming King William is the 17 year old son of Jim A. Lane and the grandson of Debra K. Lane. William has participated in FFA, Forensics, and the Venture/Shooting program. He has received 2nd place in a regional Science Fair in Health. William plans to attend Full Sail University or an Art Institute to become a Computer Animator/Game Designer.
