@AHLBruins Bobby Robbins recently took the “Ice Bucket Challenge” to raise awareness in the fight to defeat ALS. He joins legions across America who accepted the challenge, which involves getting doused with buckets of ice water on video and sharing via social media. Pete Frates, a resident of Beverly, Mass., started the “Ice Bucket Challenge” with his family utilizing Facebook and Twitter. Frates, 29, a former Division I baseball player at Boston College, has lived with ALS since 2012, and he has worked with The ALS Association’s Massachusetts Chapter to spread awareness of Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
