AHSTW Opener vs. CAM It was a slow start, but a nice finish to our first of the year. The boys are working very hard and doing some nice things. Our team chemistry is growing each day and practices are as competitive as ever. The effort these boys put out day in and day in and day out is all a coach can ask for and it showed on Monday. We just have to combine working harder with working smarter, then you get the best of both worlds. CAM is a very well coached team and do a lot of the little things right. There fundamentals and solid ball movement took the guys by surprise and pushed our defensive rotations. It was nice to see our defense step up, adjust and take care of business. We are a defensive minded team, but are going to make a conscious effort to put as many points on the board as we can. Monday was a solid step forward and are looking to continue in that direction. We head to Logan-Magnolia Friday to open up conference play, then back home Saturday versus Missouri Valley for a B/G double header starting at 4:00pm with the boys freshman starting play at 2:30pm.
