AIR PEEING - As I walked Cooper today on a sunny winter morning that can only be described as crisp, I observed something interesting. Long after he has emptied his tank by peeing on every bush and signpost within 2 miles of our house, he still continues to air pee. Air peeing is when a dog lifts his leg to simulate peeing on something long after his bladder is empty. Youve got to admire dedication like that. This attempt to leave your mark on the world even though youre running on empty. That you still want people to know you were there even if theres no visible proof. Knowing that at this moment your tank is dry, but youre still going to give it a try. I want to be guilty of that. Trusting that at some point, the tank, whether emotional or creative, will refill. Because its not always about the final result, but more about the intent. Intent. Its about continuing to try regardless of tangible results. Were all air-peeing at some point in our life. Trying to make a difference even though were not seeing any visible results. Yep. Life is one big fire hydrant. Keep tying to leave your mark.
