AIYE TOTO, AIYE MOJUBA -- This is how the world is, let this be a lesson to all office holders, that whenever you are in service, people will sing praises and respect for you, but when you are out and have no influence or had taken some decisions affecting some people within the rank and file, even those you favored and offended latter, due to policy implementations, they will reflect a negative attitude against you. I am surprised at Bishop Akindeko Amos to have written this on Prelate Mbang. His administration made you, give you unlimited privileges to the point of abuse, before decamping to this reflection of your writings. What will you preach on "Judge not for ye shall not be judged" "Respect your leaders" "Give honor to whom honor is due". I am only surprised that he can address this man like this even if he(Mbang) is wrong. I will advice all other Bishops not to be involved in this matter on the media because "no one is free of mistake, errors" and "people living in glass house should not throw stones" The Bible says love your enemy, this outburst on Mbang from Bishop Akindeko Amos is unwarranted, degrading, insulting and unpalatable in the media to the Methodists. The out going, Prelate should caution other Bishops not to meddle with the media comments because media will escalate this issue. Ministers of lower rank can be pardon if they write this kind of essay, not a benefitted Bishop. Freedom of expression without bitterness should be the watchword for a leader and religious leaders. I will like to see a rejoinder and apology to our Prelate emeritus from this Bishop because "the rod used by a husband to beat the first wife, is still around, and will be used to beat the new wife also".
