Ajimobi Orders Closure of Ibadan Markets# The Ajimobi-led APC government in Oyo State has reportedly banned all major markets in Ibadan from opening tomorrow (Saturday) because the Buhari-Osibanjo presidential campaign train will be visiting the state capital. The order, which has generated knocks from the market men and women, is being described as a branding of impunity and insensitivity. OUR STANCE: The Jonathan-Sambo campaign train was here (Ibadan) few days back without paralysing the economic activities in the state capital. So, the alleged Gov. Ajimobi’s order on the closure of the markets is anti-masses and unnecessary. Will APC/Ajimobi will pay the market men and women, who are living from hand to mouth on daily basis for the 24hrs closure of their shops? Why is it that most of the actions & inactions of Ajimobi govt are satanic, draconian, uninformed and unfriendly? THESE NONSENSES MUST STOP...
