AKE A STEP OF FAITH II/h3> “And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there”. 2Kings 7:5 In 2 Kings Chapter 7, from verse 1, we are told that there was a very severe famine in Samaria. It was so bad that people were eating their children. However, at the gate of Samaria were four smelly and rejected lepers who decided to rise up and do something about their challenge. These men had been rejected by family, friends and even the society they once lived in. They had been banished to live outside the city gates to fend for themselves, but they refused to give up on themselves. Oftentimes the problem with us as believers is that we are always thinking everything is about us, but beloved, it is not about you but about the God you serve. When challenges come against you, it is not about you but about the God you serve. It is an occasion for you to prove your God. It is an opportunity for your God to demonstrate to an unbelieving world what he can do when people put their trust in Him. The God you serve cannot be limited by events or situations. He is still the Almighty God. He is the Monarch of the Universe. He is the Imperial Majesty and He cannot be intimidated by your challenges no matter how great they are. Beloved, this is the time to believe God for the impossible. Stop believing according to your limitation. This is the time to see the things you have believed God for come to pass. The question is what are you trusting and believing God for? The four lepers believed that something good might just happen to them as they went to the enemys camp. As they rose up and took a bold step, God moved into the enemys camp and made them to hear the sound of many chariots and the enemies ran away and left all they took from the people of God. In like manner, I declare that all the enemy has taken from you will be restored back to you in Jesus name.
