AKWA IBOM GUBER RACE, THE BATTLE TO HILTOP MANSION I have observed with keen interest the calibre of people who are aspiring to succeed governor Godswill Obot Akpabio come 2015 and I must confess, we have paraded our best eleven. While the race is still open for more contenders, we must find out time to get acquainted with these aspirants to know who they really are and what they have to offer Akwa Ibom people. Some of the aspirants, we only see their faces on newspaper, heard their voices on radio and sometimes see them on television without knowing who they are. In this series tagged: THE ROAD TO HILTOP MANSION, I will bring each of the aspirants to public domain by telling the people of Akwa Ibom State especially the electorates who these people are, what are their antecedents and what they have to offer Akwa Ibom people. This will guide our decision at the October primaries so that our people will not make costly mistakes that they will regret later. From information available to the public, we have over 20 potential aspirants cutting across the entire state. I will pick them one by one from Federal Constituency basis. The information that will be publish in this series include the aspirant comprehensive profile, wealth of experience in leadership position or corporate governance, level of impact on the people/society, influence on the political class/support base, chances to pick ticket at the party primaries, etc. Among the aspirants presently on ground, who do you think we should feature first?
