AL PACINO Alfredo James Pacino, known as Al Pacino (New York, NY, April 25, 1940) is an American actor and film director and theater, winner of the Oscar, Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG, BAFTA, AFI and Tony, and considered one of the best actors of history. It is famous for playing mobsters, including Michael Corleone in The Godfather trilogy, Tony Montana in Scarface, Alphonse Big Boy Caprice in Dick Tracy, Lefty Ruggiero in Donnie Brasco and Carlito Brigante in Carlitos Way, but has also appeared several times on the side of the law, as a police officer, detective and lawyer. His role as Frank Slade in Scent of a Woman won him the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1992 after receiving several previous nominations.
