ALABAMA THE STATE TIME LEFT BEHIND Why does an elected Governor along with his elected State Representatives all in unison sing a song of dire Finanacial/Economic conditions when they all have begged and promised to be the Dragon Slayer. The entire state was in education and economic poverty and remained in economic hard times until the end of World War II circa 1950 when our popuilation was reaching the 3 million mark. B. Fast forward to 2015 era and our population is approaching the 5 million mark. C. The State transitioned from a predominant agriculture low income wage earning populace into the modern era of industrial/market based environment which the rest of the World was enjoying Post World War II.
