ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Embers from the Thompson Ridge Fire flew over a containment line Saturday evening expanding the 18,000-acre fire and contributing to the closure of State Route 4 west of Los Alamos. Late Saturday evening fire bosses were working on a plan to contain the new extension of the fire on South Mountain, according to an update released by the fire team at 10:40 p.m..
