ALERT : Kwara PDP Gubernatorial Primary Venue(s) ! Just this morning,I read on Social Media Venue(s) for the Kwara PDP gubernatorial primary venue(s) as released and signed by Yusuf A Femi,the Acting Publicity Secretary of the state PDP. While such release is in line to inform the public and the party faithful accordingly,the program as scheduled by the release gives room for concern. According to the release,accreditation of delegates will be done at the Stella Obasanjo Multi Purpose Hall while accredited delegates will then proceed to Arca Santa Event Centre for the voting proper. The questions here are,why should delegates accreditation be done at a venue and voting done at a different venue entirely though both venues are some few meters apart ? Is there no enough space at both venues to contain the delegates,party members and supporters at the same time ? Ordinarily,one would have seen nothing wrong in this arrangement but events of the last two primary elections especially in Ilorin West would make one have some concerns. It is alleged that there is already a doctored delegate list of that of Ilorin West especially while it is also reported that a bus filled of arranged delegates was substituted for that of some of the ASA LG delegates yesterday at the Federal House Of Assemby primaries. It is also on record that an aspirant for the Ilorin West/ASA Federal seat was barred from participating in the primaries by security operatives acting on orders from above while some original delegates were manhandled and tear gassed. In view of all these,the plot of some desperate and powerful individuals in the Kwara PDP is very clear with the arrangement made for the gubernatorial primary. The plot is simple. While accreditation of delegates would be on going at the Stella Obasanjo Hall,Arca Santa Event Centre will be filled already by delegates with heavily armed security operatives on guard to protect them and forestall trouble. The authentic accredited delegates would be turn back as plans have been concluded already for a fresh delegates list from Abuja. (Anyone that was at Pacific Hotel in 2003 during Bukolas primary will attest to this). On this note,I implore ALL well meaning Kwara PDP members to be at alert to this plot by persons that are afraid of a free and fair primary. Persons that will stop at NOTHING to get things their way. The Kwara of our dream should not be founded on self interest but overall interest of the populace and if these persons are not checked now then,we are in grave danger. Good Bless Kwara !
