*** ALERT ... Your daily Good Morning message *** I would like to wish everyone a nice Friday. Today is a very special day at The Post Exchange, not only for me, but for this incredible family. We are celebrating the one-year anniversary of the first morning message, one day early so all of the Musketeers could be here. When I came to this site on 05 August 2013, I felt the only way I would get to know people would be to post something, hoping someone would talk to me. On Friday, 09 August 2013, I posted the below message. Gayle Lucas Vietnam Reflections T.T.E. - The Post Exchange August 9, 2013 Happy Friday to everyone!! Welcoming all the newcomers to an awesome page. Little did I know that would become a daily ritual. Once I included one of my photos, not only did that take a new direction, I was told that there was no way I could ever stop posting messages and photos. Since that time, music videos have been added, making the morning message sing. Today is daily message #357. Having received a lot of feedback on the morning messages, I learned that they become part of you. They can inspire and motivate...they can help you get over pain...make you feel loved...make you smile and laugh...and help you through those tough days when you think that no one knows what youre going through. There have been many lessons and weve learned from each other. Thank you for reading my messages. I love you all. I would like to thank Marlan Thompson for encouraging me to check out this site...within five minutes, I knew this was where I belonged. In between all the messages, on 10 September 2013, Marlan asked me to be acting Admin. while he was away. Upon his return, I told Marlan that I would await my fire date. He told me, dont hold your breath. As you can see, Marlan and I have different meanings for acting as Im still Adming. Who would have thought a civvie Admin. on a Vietnam military site?!! Thank you, Marlan, for having faith in me to be part of this continually-growing family and to moderate alongside of you. I would be remiss if I did not thank the other two-thirds of the Musketeers as we were lovingly dubbed. Randy (vspa) has shared his love of music by selecting music videos to match my words and photos. Ken Ash has shared his beautiful photos and his love of music. Both have written some messages. In addition, there have been many Veterans and civvies who are part of the Guest Writer Team...thank you for being in this family and contributing to the success of the messages.
