*** ALERT ... Your daily Good Morning message *** Wishing everyone a nice, peaceful Thursday. Do you believe in Angels? I was never sure if I did or I didnt. Actually, I never thought about it. Until the past year. And, especially last night. It was a year ago on 9-11 that I had to help my M&M cross the bridge. This little tortoise-shell kitty was truly special and had a gift she shared with many. I used her as a therapy kitty at a local nursing facility and hospital where she always knew how to brighten a patients day. M&M was awesome when we were visiting the Special Care Unit or Alzheimers patients. She loved Sundae Sundays when patients would feed her vanilla ice cream. Who wouldnt?!! The day after M&M left me, I found a feather. I took it as a sign that she was letting me know she was okay. Many of my photos were taken at my little beach...and I always brought seagull feathers home and we played with them for hours. The first feather she sent me was a seagull feather...in the small city where I work, a downtown area. Feathers kept appearing when I least expected it. When I was having a hard time with something. When I daydreaming about something. When I was in Louisiana for R&R earlier this year. When I was in Colorado for R&R two months ago. Last night, I felt compelled to go to the cemetery to visit my Nonnie (grandmother) to get some strength for something I need to do today. Dont fret, its all good. In the spot I usually park my car, there was a feather. There was another on the marker. I go to my parents and more feathers. By the time I got done, I had 79 feathers....and was sobbing uncontrollably. These feathers were a gift of love, a big hug from M&M (and Im sure Nonnie, too). Just when I needed it, an Angel appeared.
