ALERT: this video mayyyyy annoy you!! I was challenged to do the #icebucketchallenge by miss April Lynn She challenged me for the #fallenfirefighters, I also have strong feelings about raising awareness for ALS. So I decided to do a bucket for both! I have seen some posts that have really bothered me, people getting annoyed of seeing these challenges on their feed. Im sorry that for once, Facebook actually has some positive feed, Im sorry your feed isnt full of ridiculous memes, celebrity gossip, or peoples vent of the day because Facebook is now a psychiatrist. For once people are wanting to make a difference, even if they are only doing it for their 3 minutes of fame or if you think its stupid to be wasting clean water to get out of donating dont worry your feed will go back to its typical stuff in a week. ALS is serious, scary, and not talked about. It wasnt until the video that Anthony Carbajal posted that I truly realized what this challenge could be doing! I challenge you not to only stop dissing the challenge, but to get up and do it! Also put yourself in the 30,000 Americans shoes that do have ALS, wouldnt you want awareness on a disease that you, or a loved one had that didnt have a cure, that you knew there was a 2-5 year frame left in your/ their life?
